About Our Jewellery

Are your earrings handmade?
Yes. Each piece is handmade with care. Because our jewellery is handcrafted, small variations may occur, making each pair unique.

What materials do you use?
Our designs may include polymer clay, crystals, glass beads, gemstone-style beads, gold-filled findings, silver-plated findings and other decorative components. The materials used for each design are listed in the individual product description.

Do you use resin?
No. Opalite Collections does not use resin in our jewellery.

Are your earrings lightweight?
Yes. Most Opalite earrings are designed to be lightweight and comfortable to wear.

Are your earrings suitable for sensitive ears?
Many designs use quality findings, including gold-filled components in selected pieces. However, sensitivity varies from person to person, so please check the individual product description before purchasing.

Will the earrings look exactly like the photos?
We do our best to photograph each piece accurately. As each item is handmade, there may be slight variations in colour, pattern, shape or decorative placement. Screen settings may also affect how colours appear.

Product Care

How do I care for my earrings?
Avoid exposing your jewellery to water, perfume, hairspray, lotions or harsh chemicals. Store your earrings in a dry place when not being worn.

Can I wear them in the shower or swimming?
No. Please remove your jewellery before showering, swimming or exercising.

How should I clean my earrings?
Gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners, alcohol wipes or abrasive materials.

Are polymer clay earrings durable?
Polymer clay is lightweight and flexible, but it should still be handled with care. Avoid bending, dropping or placing heavy items on your earrings.

Where do you ship from?
Opalite Collections ships from Australia.

Do you ship within Australia?
Yes. We ship Australia-wide.

Do you ship internationally?
International shipping availability may vary. Please check the shipping options at checkout.

How long will my order take to arrive?
Processing and delivery times may vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected. You will receive order updates once your purchase has been processed.

Do you provide tracking?
Where tracking is available, tracking details will be provided once your order has been shipped.

Returns & Exchanges

Do you accept returns?
For hygiene reasons, earrings generally cannot be returned or exchanged due to change of mind. Please choose carefully before purchasing.

What if my item arrives damaged?
Please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and photos of the damaged item and packaging. We will review the issue and work with you on a suitable solution.

Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis where an item is faulty or damaged on arrival. Refunds are not offered for normal wear and tear, misuse, or change of mind.

Custom Orders & Gifts

Can I request a custom design?
Custom designs may be available depending on materials and current workload. Please contact us with what you have in mind.

Are your earrings suitable as gifts?
Yes. Our earrings make beautiful gifts for birthdays, special occasions or simply as a treat for someone special.
